Mission Statement –The Mission of the Alliance Sportsmanship Foundation is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the life experiences of student athletes in Charlotte, NC and Mecklenburg County through activity community-based philanthropic programs.

Vision Statement - The Vision of Alliance Sportsmanship Foundation is to provide active community engagement opportunities which allow its members to contribute to their environment. We celebrate our diversity and recognize that there are many things that unite us all through sport.

Core Values

ASF supports the vision and talents of student-athletes in their communities. We have five core values.

Commitment

We believe that providing community enrichment programs to individuals in communities across the Charlotte, NC is the standard and the primary measure of our organization. Our sole purpose is providing student-athletes with the tools to meet the challenges posed by a diverse array of compelling individual and community needs.

Leadership - We believe that the full measure of our leaders and members is the sum of their vision, professionalism, ethics, and the quality of responsiveness to community needs.

Ethics - We believe that integrity and authenticity in our works best demonstrate the basic, intrinsic values held by members and volunteers of this organization.

Accountability - We believe full accountability is the responsibility of our leaders and members.

Academics - We believe there is no substitute for education. We value the importance of the student- athlete’s ability to balance the many aspects of life. We promote educational experiences intended to foster the growth of the intellectual, creative, physical, social and emotional student athlete.
